SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

This scholarship is awarded to an individual who wants to invest in their education by attending a music and leadership seminar and needs financial assistance to do so.

Applicants must be applying to attend the Romeoville, Illinois Girls March seminar. No previous percussion experience is necessary.

The 2019 Girls March scholarship is made possible by educators, musicians, and anyone who wishes to support a girl investing in her education and future.

Eligibility:

  • Is planning to attend the Romeoville, Illinois Girls March seminar.
  • Is in middle school/high school (or just graduated).
  • No previous percussion experience required.
  • Has completed online registration for the seminar up to the point of submitting payment.

Describe your experiences in your school band program(s) (if applicable) and how they shape who you are today. Discuss why you want to attend this seminar, what you hope to learn, and your short- or long-term goals (both outside of and within the marching arts).

Deadline: Application must be submitted by May 1st, 2019
